ECSA Maintenance is the first company in Switzerland to start producing AdBlue®. With a state-of-the-art plant at its headquarters in Flawil (SG), which went into operation in mid-2024, and a national distribution network, ECSA offers a certified, locally produced solution for low-emission mobility.

A sustainable alternative to imports

AdBlue® is a key component of modern exhaust gas after-treatment for diesel vehicles and contributes significantly to the reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOₓ). Until now, AdBlue® has largely been imported from abroad, resulting in considerable transport costs and CO₂ emissions. With domestic production, ECSA not only reduces import emissions but also logistical costs.

Certified quality and climate benefits

ECSA's production and filling plant is designed in accordance with ISO 22241 (VDA-certified) and meets the highest European standards in terms of quality and environmental compatibility. According to an environmental statement verified by the independent inspection body SI Cert S.a.g.l., each tonne of AdBlue® produced locally saves an average of 21,096 kg of CO₂eq compared to imported products. The total annual saving is over 107 tonnes of CO₂eq, with possible peaks of up to 178 tonnes - the equivalent of absorbing CO₂ from around 10,700 trees.
