1. SCOPE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION

This document defines the Company Policy defined by the Management of ECSA Group in relation to the Quality, Environment and Safety Management System.

The Management ensures that the Management System Policy and the objectives are established and compatible with the corporate strategy and the context in which the Company operates, and ensures that the Policy is communicated, understood and applied in the organisation.

Each management system document (documented information) relating to the service or which may have an impact on the service must comply with the Policy outlined in this document.

The Management System Policy applies to all levels of the company; implementation is mandatory for all staff.

The Quality Management System Policy applies to all activities carried out by ECSA Group and in particular to the activity falling within the scope of application:

• Distribution and trading of raw materials, petroleum products and maintenance products.

 

2. MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY

         The Management’s strategy regarding the Integrated System is characterised by:

 

• The ambition to be professional in all company processes, allowing Customers to perceive the high quality of its products and services, creating an ongoing partnership, aiming for excellence
• A culture aimed at promoting continuous improvement in the search for products to offer to customers, in relation to services and all activities
• The company commitment to manage goods, quality production, protecting the environment and the health and safety of workers, ensuring that all personnel are consulted and participate in the maintenance and improvement of the Management System itself
• The intention to satisfy the needs of the Customers determines our activities, through a close collaboration relationship with our Suppliers

Specifically, the Company is committed to managing its activities, products and services with a view to continuous improvement, not only in terms of quality but also of environmental protection and protecting the health and safety of all interested parties.

 

Aware that better environmental protection can only be achieved with prevention and control, the Management is committed to continuously promoting what is required to:

 

• pursue the continuous improvement of environmental performance and pollution prevention;
• continuously ensure compliance with the applicable laws, rules and regulations, periodically checking they are implemented;
• keep possible pollution sources under control;
• use management systems and procedures that comply with the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard to prevent and/or avoid all risks or hazards to public health, safety and well-being, and also to the flora, fauna and, in broader terms, to the ecosystem;
• responsibly manage waste collection and disposal;
• keep under control and minimise the impact of emissions into the atmosphere;
• optimise the use of resources and energy, with special attention on energy consumption;
• adequately involve the levels of the organisational structure to implement the corporate strategic principles and improvement programmes;
• ensure what is required to deal with environmental emergencies and contain the related impacts;
• raise awareness of the importance of complying with the law and of protecting the environment and health and safety in the workplace;
• provide this policy to all members of staff and make it available to anybody who asks for it.

 

ECSA is a FAMI-QS certified company.

In this respect, the ECSA Management is committed to ensuring that:

• The feed/food quality and safety policy and the objectives of the feed/food Quality and Safety System are established and are compatible with the strategic direction and with the context of ECSA; 
• The necessary resources are available for the feed quality and safety management system; 
• The feed/food quality and safety management system achieves the expected results; 
• The feed/food quality and safety policy and the objectives are direct and specific for supporting staff, to contribute to the effectiveness of the feed/food quality and safety management system; 
• Continuous improvement is promoted through the feed/food quality and safety policy; 
• The feed/food quality and safety policy and the identification of objectives for other relevant management roles can appropriately demonstrate the leadership of each role according to how it applies to their areas of responsibility; 
• The feed/food quality and safety policy is communicated to, understood and applied by all internal and external parties involved in the operation; 
• Commitment to compliance with industry regulations, HACCP risk assessment, VACCP fraud vulnerability assessment and TACCP terrorism threat assessment is guaranteed.

As a producer of AdBlue, ECSA Maintenance AG is committed to following the product quality guidelines set by ISO 22241 1/2/3.
Furthermore, as a manufacturer of veterinary products, the company is committed to following the GMP rules and guidelines, which provide the minimum requirements to ensure that the products are manufactured according to specific quality standards.

The Management is committed to ensuring that this document is understood in terms of content and purpose, implemented and supported by all staff, at all levels.

Furthermore, the Company Management undertakes to review this document annually in order to reconfirm and/or update the contents according to the needs during the annual review.
